The Alcatel One Touch Idol which regularly sells for Php 11,990 will have a discounted price of Php 10,990 only during the said sale. That’s Php 1,000 less than the suggested retail price.
The Alcatel One Touch Idol features a 4.7-inch qHD IPS capacitive display at 540×960 resolution, with 236ppi and Gorilla Glass Oleophobic coating. It is powered by a 1GHz dual core MediaTek Mt6577 processor paired with 512MB of RAM and a PowerVR SGX531 for its GPU. Out of the box it’s running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Alcatel One Touch Idol also has a 4GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. It also has basic connectivity functions like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, and sensors.
Meanwhile, its big brother the Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra will have a discounted price of Php 13,490 only instead of its regular price of Php 14,990. That’s a Php 1,500 savings.
The Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core MediaTek Mt6577+ processor paired with 1GB of RAM, and a PowerVR SGX531 for its GPU. It has a nice 4.7-inch HD AMOLED display at 720×1280 pixel resolution, with 316 ppi and Gorilla Glass. Just like it’s little brother, it also runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.
What’s great about the One Touch Idol Ultra is that it has a 16GB of internal storage, but it doesn’t have a expandable microSD card slot. It has an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
