APN Settings for Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular Philippines

The APN or Access Point Name is needed for you to be able to connect or access the internet using your mobile/smartphone or an internet dongle. Each network (Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular) has its own settings. These APN settings should be properly configured for you to access the internet using your smartphone. Below are the settings for each network in the Philippines:

Globe APN Settings

Prepaid APN: http.globe.com.ph
Postpaid APN: internet.globe.com.ph

Smart Bro APN Settings

Prepaid APN: smartbro
Postpaid APN: smartbro

Smart Buddy and Smart Gold APN Settings: internet

Sun Cellular APN Settings for Prepaid

APN static: minternet
Authentication: PAP
IP address: dynamic

Sun Cellular APN Settings for Postpaid

APN static: fbband
Authentication: PAP
IP address: dynamic

For Android smartphones, remember to check or activate the “Use packet data” or “Activate data network” for you to be able to connect to the internet. You can uncheck this settings if you want to disconnect or do not want to connect.

If you are using different SIM cards (postpaid or prepaid), it is advisable to create a profile for each SIM’s APN settings or network.
