Asus Transformer Prime TF700T vs Apple iPad 3: Which one is for you?

Asus has unveiled and officially introduced the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF700T, an upgraded version of Asus Transformer Prime TF201, and features NVIDIA’s latest Tegra 3 Quad Core processor.
On the other hand, Apple has yet to unveil its trump card, the most awaited Apple iPad 3. The iPad3 is expected to be unveiled anytime soon, perhaps in the second quarter of 2012. If this happens, most probably the Asus Transformer Prime TF700T and Apple iPad 3 will meet head-on in our local stores.
The upcoming Asus Transformer Prime TF700T features NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor Cortex-A9 running at 1.3GHz. It also features a better display with the 10.1-inch Super IPS+LCD paired with scratch-proof Corning Gorilla Glass. The front facing camera is also upgraded from 1.2 megapixels to 2 megapixels. And runs on the latest Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System.
Information about Apple iPad 3 is very much limited. Apple’s keeping it a secret, just like iPhone 4S before. People were clueless about the 4S and most of us were expecting for iPhone 5.
Anyway, the Apple iPad 3 is expected to feature a quad core processor, supports Long Term Evolution (LTE) and other stuffs that the iPad 2 doesn’t have. Below is a table comparing some of the features/specifications of the upcoming Asus Transformer Prime TF700T and Apple iPad 3.
