Cherry Mobile has recently released the cheapest Android tablet you can find in the market today – the Cherry Mobile Fusion Air. It’s a 7-inch tablet that runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1GHz processor. The price, like the title of the article say, is only Php 2,999. Very, very affordable. The Cherry Mobile Fusion Air sports a 7-inch 5 point touch screen display. I’m not sure if it’s an IPS display, but probably not, just to make this tablet really cheap. But it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1GHz processor with Mali-400 for its GPU. This mean you can play some of the games that are available in the app market. Its CPU is paired with a 512MB RAM, not much, just enough for it to run the system, and a 4GB internal memory.
The Cherry Mobile Fusion Air also has an expandable memory of up to 32GB via microSD slot. It doesn’t have much connectivity options. It only has a WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connection, G-sensor, and probably a micro USB port. But it does have, at least, a VGA camera. Of course, let’s not forget the 3.5mm stereo audio jack for your earphones or headphones. And it draws its power from a 2200 mAh battery.
Don’t expect to much from this tablet. You can install some apps and games from the Google Play store, but not all. It might not support or run some apps and games due to its limited capabilities.
Just a tip, since the Cherry Mobile Fusion Air has a very attractive price, you might want to check out what you are looking for in a tablet, and for what purpose will you use it. This tablet is very cheap, but it’s also limited in terms of specs and performance.
