As such, manufacturers of NVIDIA’s new graphics card evaluated the GTX 680 to be 40% faster than Radeon HD 7970. If the data was “real”, this would be a great news for NVIDIA-fans out there. The GeForce GTX 680, Radeon HD 7970 and Radeon HD 7950 were tested using the following:

  • 3DMark11 Extreme Preset
  • Stalker Pripyat Day
  • Stalker Pripyat Day 4xAA
  • Stalker Pripyat Sun
  • Stalker Pripyat Sun 4xAA
  • Battlefield 3
  • Battlefield 3 4xAA
  • Call of Duty MW 3
  • Call of Duty MW 3 4xAA
  • Civilization V
  • Civilization V 4xAA
  • Dirt 3
  • Dirt 3 4xAA
  • Just Cause 2
  • Just Cause 2 4xAA

As you can see, the GeForce GTX 680 is leading in all games and benchmarks. Although these figures may not be as accurate or “believable” as of the moment, NVIDIA is confident to claim the crown again of having the fastest graphics card from AMD.

Let’s just wait for real GeForce GTX 680 reviews to come out, and then that’s the time we will know if NVIDIA has really the fastest GPU in the world or not.

Like I said, these are not “real” user benchmarks and are done by the manufacturers. It’s expected that there are bias. I also mentioned in my last paragraph that “Let’s just wait for real GeForce GTX 680 reviews to come out, and then that’s the time we will know if NVIDIA has really the fastest GPU in the world or not.”
