Lian Li Industrial Co. Ltd, officially unleashed a new “compact” full tower chassis in addition to their PC-V series, the Lian Li PC-V750. This new full aluminum chassis supports large motherboards or EATX (Extended-ATX) motherboards like the EVGA Z77 FTW or Gigabyte Intel Z77 G1.SNIPER 3. To accommodate such large motherboards, the PSU is placed in the front portion of the chassis.
The Lian Li PC-V750 is quite shorter and more compact compared to other chassis that could support EATX motherboards. It’s 17 inches tall and can hold up to six 3.5-inch hard drives with hotswap capabilities. There is one 5.25-inch drive bay on top of the 3.5-inch internal bay, which can be converted to a 3.5-inch bay. There are also two available bays in the floor of this chassis for 3.5-inch and 2.5 inch drives.
The PSU is no longer placed at the back portion of the PC-V750, but instead it is located in front of the chassis, directly under the 3.5-inch drive bays. There are ventilation holes under the chassis for the PSU and the motherboard with removable dust filter.
The Lian Li PC-V750 has 10 expansion slots to accommodate upgrade-ability in EATX motherboards and can support graphics cards up to 380mm long. You could also see that there is a graphics card support bracket at the side of the chassis.
There are a total of 5 120mm fans installed in the Lian Li PC-V750. Two are located in front of the chassis, cooling the hard drives. Two more are located at the top of the chassis and one is located at the back (exhaust) of the chassis.
In the front portion of the PC-V750, you can see two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 and one e-SATA ports, as well as HD audio ports. It also feature Easy-to-remove pop-off panels and sturdy aluminum feet with rubber bottoms. Lian Li PC-V750 Price and Release Date
The Lian Li PC-V750 has a manufacturer suggested retail price of $319 for the PC-V750A and PC-V750B. While the PC-V750WX, which has side panel window, is priced at $349 USD. These prices does not included tax. According to Lian Li’s press release, the new PC-V750 chassis is already available by now in US and Canada.
