Nokia Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311: The Nokia Asha Touch Family

Nokia has recently introduced a new fun and colorful range of Asha touch screen phones that features fast mobile web browsing, social networking and mobile gaming. The three new Asha phones are Nokia Asha 305, Nokia Asha 305 and Nokia Asha 311. These phones run on the new redesigned operating system, the Series 40 or S40.

The Nokia Asha 302

The Nokia Asha 305 is a dual-SIM phone, that sports a 3-inch resistive touch screen and a 2 megapixel real camera. It has connectivity like microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1 and 3.5mm audio jack and it has an expandable memory through microSD slot. The Nokia Asha 305 is powered by a 110mAh battery. It has a 110.3 mm x 53.8 mm x 12.8 mm dimension and weigh 98.3 grams. Nokia Asha 305’s estimated retail price is EUR 63 and is expected to be available by second quarter of 2012. Next is the Nokia Asha 306, which is the big brother of Nokia 305. They have similar specifications. The Asha 306 is also powered by a 1Ghz processor and it also sports a 2 megapixel rear camera. But the Asha 306 has WiFi capabilities and can stream videos over WiFi and GPRS. Ofcourse the Asha 306 is more expensive with an estimated retail price of EUR 68. Watch its video below.

The Nokia Asha 311

And finally we have the Nokia Asha 311, the highest model among the three. It sports a 1Ghz processor and an internal memory of 256MB, expandable through microSD. Unlike the 305 and 306, it has a 3-inch capacitive type of screen. It also has a bigger camera sensor size with 3.2 megapixel rear camera. It has WiFi function, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm audio jack, HSPA connectivity, music player, FM radio and internet radio. It is also powered by a 1110mAh battery.

Obviously this is a better choice amongst the three Asha phones. The Nokia Asha 311 has an estimated retail price of EU 92 and is expected to be available by third quarter of 2012. Watch its video below entitled Nokia Asha 311: fun, fast and always connected.
