List of all Transformers 3 Autobots and Decepticons

Transformers 3 might not what Transformers fans expect it to be. Some of the fans were happy, some were not. As far as I know, the Dark of the Moon deviated from the story line of the original Transformers series and animated movies.

Oh, well. I’m not here to criticize the movie. I watch it and enjoyed the movie. Although I was expecting more since it will be the last of the Transformers movie.

Here’s a complete list of all the Autobots and Decepticons appeared in Dark of the Moon. You may noticed that some Autobots who were present in Transformers 2: Rise of the Fallen is now missing in part 3, and vice verse. And some have already been upgraded or with a new look.

List of Transformers 3 Autobots:
Optimus Prime – Leader of Autobots and believed to be last of the Primes. Optimus transforms into a Blue Peterbilt 379 truck with red flame decals. This time Optimus Prime is back with more firepower with his “Trailer” which contains his weapons accessories and can be transformed to a flight gear.

Sentinel Prime – Previous leader of the Autobots and turns out to be the main antagonist in Dark of the Moon. Sentinel Transforms into a Rosenbauer Panther Airport crash tender fire truck.

Bumbblebee – Perhaps your all time favorite Autobot? Bumblebee is Sam Witwicky’s guardian and he’s one of the main protagonist in the movie since Transformers 1. Bumblebee transforms into a 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro.

Ironhide – He’s the weapon specialist and transforms into a GMC Topkick.

Rachet – He’s the Autobot’s medic who transforms into a Hummer H2.

Sideswipe – A new addition to the Autobots in Transformers 3. Sideswipe transforms into a silver Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

Wheelie – Formerly a Decepticons in Transformers 1 and was eventually “tamed” by Mikaela and switched side to Autobots.

Brains – Also a Decepticon who, like Wheelie, switched side to Autobots. He transforms into a laptop computer.

Mirage (Dino) – Mirage is also a new character in Transformers 3 and he transforms into a Ferrari 458 Italia.

Wheeljack (Que) – The “Einstein” in this movie. His the researcher and inventor of the Autobots in Transformers 3. But eventually he was executed by Soundwave. He transforms into a Blue Mercedes Benz E550.

Other additional Autobots:
The Wreckers are a Autobots team who are heavily armed and transforms into a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series cars.
Leadfoot (Wreckers) – Juan Pablo Montoya #42 Target Car

Topspin (Wreckers) – Jimmie Johnson #48 Lowe’s/Kobalt Car

Roadbuster (Wreckers) – Dale Earnhardt, Jr #88 AMP Energy/National Guard Car

Skids – Chevrolet sparks
Mudflap – Chevrolet Trax

List of Transformers 3 Decepticons:

Megatron – Your all time favorite Decepticon maybe? Later known as Galvatron, Megatron is the main antagonist in Michael Bay’s Transformer movies. In Dark of the Moon, Megatron transforms into a rusty Armored Mack Titan 10-wheeler fuel tank truck.

Starscream – He is the air commander of the Decepticons and transforms into a F-22 Raptor. More like a coward, Starscream likes to attack on defenseless and weak enemies instead of facing the Autobots head on.

Shockwave – He’s the guy with the giant worm Cybertronian robot. I’m not really sure what Shockwave transforms into. It’s either a Cybertronian tank or a self propelled cannon.

Soundwave – A communications specialist. You may have seen Soundwave in Transformers 2. I think he’s the one hacking into the military’s satellite. Soundwave transforms into a Silver Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

Laserbeak – He’s a minion of Soundwave that resembles a mechanical condor and transforms into a Gyrodyne.

Crankcase (The Dreads) – Chevrolet Suburban
Crowbar (The Dreads) – Chevrolet Suburban Police SUV

Hatchet (The Dreads) – Chevrolet Suburban Police SUV

Igor – Err…A head like, deformed Decepticon.
