Published on January 14th, 2011

You might now be familiar with the company KFA2, but they have developed a wireless graphic card. KFA2 is the new European premium brand of Galaxy and they have just launched the world’s first wireless graphic card, the GeFore GTX 460 WHDI or KFA2 GTX 460 WHDI.

The GeForce GTX 460 WHDI utilizes AMIMONS’ WHDI technology which enables the end-user to “wirelessly” connect from their PC to their display monitor without cables!

WHDI stands for Wireless Home Digital Interface and it delivers an uncompressed 1080p with 60Hz video. It has a range of 30 meters. Basically, the concept is like a wireless router, except that it sends display output instead of data.

Even though the Geforce GTX 460 is wireless, it is still equipped with great features such as DirectX 11 tessellation, NVIDIA 3D Vision, PhysX, CUDA technologies, SLI, PureVideo HD and OpenGL 3.0

KFA2 Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 WHDI 1GB Specifications:

  • CUDA CORES : 336
  • Graphics Clock : 675 (MHz)
  • Processor Clock : 1350 (MHz)
  • Memory clock : 1800(MHz)
  • Memory Amount : 1024MB
  • Memory Interface : 256-bit
  • Memory Bandwidth : 115.2 (GB/Secs)
