Asus PQ321Q 31.5-inch 4K Display Now Available For Order

Asus’ flagship true 4K Ultra HD monitor, the Asus PQ321Q, is now available for order. The Asus PQ321Q True 4K UHD monitor boast a stunning Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 resolution, perfect for desktops and PCs with GPU supporting 4k resolution. The PQ321Q will start shipping on July 16 with a MSRP of $3, 499 USD.

The Asus PQ321Q is a 31.5-inch LED-backlit 4K Ultra HD display with 140 pixels-per-inch and a 16:9 aspect ratio, and supports 10-bit RGB ‘deep color’ for vibrant images with more natural transitions between hues. It is built with Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide, short for IGZO, that supports much smaller transistors thus having smaller pixels compared to the traditional amorphous silicon.

Thanks to the IGZO technology it also provides 176-degree viewing angle, with 350cd/m² brightness rating and 8ms gray-to-gray response time ensure smooth, bright, and vibrant moving visuals. Its also energy efficient and currently the world’s thinnest 4k display to date, with 35mm at its thickest.

The Asus PQ321Q has also lots of connectivity options. It has DisplayPorts, dual HDMI ports with Picture by Picture support, Audio input and headphone socket.

Its DisplayPort’s Multi Stream Transport mode allows 60Hz refresh rates at 3840 x 2160 resolution using graphics cards from NVIDIA, AMD, and integrated video from 4th Generation Intel Core processors.

The Asus PQ321Q has a built-in 2W stereo speakers and can be wall-mounted. Its stand offers full height, swivel, and tilt adjustments in case you want it to become more flexible.

If you think $3, 499 is too much and your not ready for 4K display resolution yet. You can also try the Dell UltraSharp U3011 30-inch monitor or the HP ZR30w 30-inch S-IPS LCD monitor. Both monitors offer superb display quality with 2560×1600 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. And they are also cheaper too (compared to the Asus PQ321Q), around $1, 200.
