DoCoMo SH-06D NERV Edition Smartphone Definitely Must Have

Rejoice Evangelion fans! The DoCoMo SH-06D NERV Edition Smartphone is here. I know there are a lot of you, Evangelion fans, out there, and this NERV Only smartphone is definitely a must have. This Evangelion smartphone is also known as Sharp SH-06D that I previously mentioned before.

Just look at the phone. The User Interface looks like you are inside NERV’s HQ in red alert status. NTT DoCoMo actually teamed up with Sharp and Studio Khara to produce the Evagelion NERV Edition SH-06D.

The SH-06D features a large 4.5-inch display at 720p resolution. The display or UI is like the “MAGI” interface in Evangelion. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Hopefully an ICS upgrade would be available in the future.

The design of the phone will tell you it’s Evangelion inspired, if you are familiar with the Evangelion Units. This The DoCoMo SH-06D, according to reports, has a 3D version of Evangelion movies included in the phone.

As much as we want to have one of this phones in our hands, unfortunately this will only be available in Japan, exclusively. And it will also be in limited quantities. See more pictures of the DoCoMo SH-06D NERV Edition “Evangelion” smartphone below.

Well that’s what they say. But it no surprise that a 3D version will come out soon since we are in the age of 3D already.
