One of the interesting tablet seen in the Mobile World Congress 2012 is the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD, claimed to be the world’s 10-inch tablet to be powered by a quad core processor. Aside from that, the Huawei Medipad 10 FHD has many great features.
You might be asking yourself, “hey this is not the first device to be powered by a quad core processor?!” And you’re right! As far as I can remember the Asus Transformer Prime TF700T was the first one to be introduced and it is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor. Oh well….
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD is built with the smallest K3 quad core processor in the industry, running at 1.5GHz. The K3 chip’s GPU boast fast processing power and 3D graphics processing capability. I wonder how will it fare with NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 and Samsung’s Exynos.
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD features a 10-inch IPS HD display at 1920×1200 pixel resolution. It also supports high speed connection up to 84Mbps. Not only that, this device is quite thin too, with a thickness of only 8.8mm, and weighs 598g. That’s close to Samsung Galaxy S 2’s thickness. Now lets take a look the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD’s detailed specs.
