The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings is simply insane with insane mode!
Have you played The Witcher? How was it? Have you finished the game without breaking a sweat? Well The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is totally different. This could be the hardest game you’ll ever play!
First a little background, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is the second installment in the RPG saga, The Witcher, which was developed by CD Projekt RED. It has a thoroughly engrossing, mature storyline defining new standards. The Witcher 2 offers an original, brutal combat system that uniquely combines tactical elements with dynamic action. The Witcher 2 is set to be released on May 17, 2011.
The Witcher 2, a fantasy role-playing game, includes four difficulties: easy, medium, hard and insane. In the insane mode, you have to stay alive until you finish the game. Because if you die in insane mode, you will have to start all over from the very beginning! “You can save the game, but when you die the saves are disabled,” explained lead gameplay designer Mateusz Kanik to Eurogamer. “Of course we plan to have a resurrection scroll, maybe DLC or something. You’ll see.”
Luckily developers of The Witcher 2 decided to put a “solution” so that you will not start all over again. “Of course we plan to have a resurrection scroll, maybe DLC or something“, says Mateusz Kanik from developers CD Projekt. This insane mode was inspired by the 2009 role-playing-game Demon’s Soul.
For those who want to enjoy the game without the pressure of dying once, you can choose from easy, medium of hard mode.
