This review product is straight from Noctua’s Rascom Computer distribution Ges.M.B.H. in Wien, Austria. Despite the slight damage to the package, it’s still in very good condition. The box is slightly glossy and you can see a small portion of the front in a window in front of the box. Specifications and features about Noctua NF-S12B FLX can be found that the back of the box. The back of the box can be pop-up.

In the pop up features and specification side it has detail information of the fans design, including the fan airflow/noise and pressure/noise ratio. It also illustrates the SSO Bearing technology and comparison to other methods. This also serves as the instruction guide on the right side.

The fan is encased with hard plastic along with the accessories included and they are nicely placed. The package contains the NF-S12B FLX case fan, 4 anti vibration compensators, 4 case fan screws, one adapter plug for low noise and another adaptor plug for ultra low noise mode.

The fan features a beveled fins that improves airflow and static pressure even under low rpm speeds. It can achieve the same airflow/static pressure in other fan that has higher rpm but the NF-S12B FLX is much quieter. You would notice that the blades are more angled for a better low noise and create much higher static pressure in low noise operation.

The NF-S12B FLX feels high quality, small details on the beveled fins are top notch perfect. The wire of the fan is sleeved so it would not clutter inside to your case. The ultra and low noise adapters used for instant low noise and rpm operations. 900rpm for the LNA (low noise adapter) and 600rpm for ULNA ( Ultra low noise adapter ).

This piece of kit is complete so its simply a easy way for consumers to install a case fan on their PC chassis. Color wise I have no complain to the color I think it’s a nice way to see the trademark of Noctua.

I installed the NF-S12B FLX at the front. I’ll compare it with the stock 1600rpm Corsair fan which was my default front fan. It matches perfectly with my Noctua NH-C14 CPU Cooler.
