NVIDIA GeForce Kepler 104 (GK104) PCB Drawings Spotted

NVIDIA GeForce Kepler 104, short for GK104, is one of the most awaited graphics card. Many PC Enthusiasts and PC gamers are anxiously waiting for this card to be released. Currently, AMD has the fastest graphics card with their current lineup. But NVIDIA fanboys still believes that the fight between AMD and NVIDIA is not over. It is believe that the upcoming GeForce Kepler 104 is faster and will change the game.

Recently, the NVIDIA GK104’s PCB drawings and power connector designs was spotted. As you can see in the images, the GeForce Kepler 104 has 5 NVVDD phases and three miscellaneous power domains. It’s power connector looks different and unusual too. The two 6-pin power connectors are stack together, suggesting that the card could be thicker.

Another image of the GK104 also suggest that it could have a 6-pin and 8-pin connector stack together. HDMI and DisplayPort connectors are also present in the card. Finally the GeForce Kepler 104’s PCB has two SLI bridge connectors, making possible for a 3-way and 4-way SLI support.

The NDIVIA GK104 is expected to be released soon. Some say that it will be unveiled this March or April 2012.
