Razer, the famous gaming hardware developer and maker, has develop and revolutionized the future of mobile gaming PC. It’s still a concept design and will not be made available in our local stores… yet. So no formal reviews are available yet. But this Razer Switblade looks very promising. This might make the PSP, Nintendo DS and other hand held gaming device obsolete.
“PC Gaming continues to attract innovation with rich 3-D graphics, high definition video, and life-like animation,” said Brad Graff, director of gaming platforms for Intel’s Ultra Mobility Group. “The Intel® Atom™ processor, combined with Razer’s expertise in bringing gaming solutions to market, will help make it possible for consumers to have a powerful gaming experience in mobile devices.”
Let’s take a look on some details and specifications on Razer Switchblade:
Dimension: 172mm x 155mm x25mm
Are both WiFi and 3G capable
Able to cater and play all game genres
The keyboard can be switch to fit which mode are you on (see the video below)
Razer Swtichblade is powered by Intel Atom processor and is built on x86 architecture.
Can run Windows 7 OS
Connectivity: MINI HDMI, USB3.0, Standard Headphone and Mic ports
You might be wondering why Razer did not use some venomous, or hideous, or monstrous insect or animal in naming their new product, well Razer Switchblade is a concept design and “Swtichblade” is the codename for the project and not a product. Maybe they will name this later.
I’m just curious how good will be the graphics quality of this new “revolutionized” mobile gaming PC.
