GoPro Hero3+ Black and Silver Editions Now Available – See Features, Specs, Price and Where to Buy

The latest models of GoPro Hero3+ Black and Silver Editions are now available online. These new models have a smaller and lighter body compared to their predecessor. They also feature a better and improved image and video quality, wider angle, reduced distortions, longer battery life and more wireless connectivity options. Among the two latest editions, the GoPro Hero3+ Silver Edition is the less feature rich action camera. But it is 15% smaller and lighter compared to the previous Hero3 camera. It is waterproof to 131″/40m and has two times faster image processor enabling slow motion captures from Full HD 1080p videos at 60 frames per second, up to 720p videos with 120 frames per second. Both the Silver and Black Editions features an enhanced low-light performance and now comes with 30% more batter life. You can see more comparison from the specifications table below.

If you are excited about the Silver Edition, wait until you see the features of the new GoPro Hero3+ Black Edition. It has the same waterproofing as the Silver edition, plus it has 20% smaller and lighter housing compared to the Hero3 making it the smallest GoPro action camera yet. You can notice an improvement in the sharpness of the images by 33%, and you can also notice significantly reduced distortions.

Both the Hero3+ Black Edition and Silver Edition features faster and enhanced built-in WiFi but it is only the Black Edition that comes with a free WiFi remote. You need to buy this one for the Silver Edition. The Black Edition has a Super View video mode that captures the world’s most immersive wide angle perspective.
