Scythe Mine 2 CPU Cooler Unleashed

Schythe, the cooling specialist from Japan has officially announced a new CPU cooler, the Scythe Mine 2. The new high-end CPU cooler, Scythe Mine 2 is based on a twin cooler layout and has eight (8) copper heatpipes.
A 140mm PWM fan is placed in the middle of the two heatsink towers to provide a better flow and cooling solution for high performance CPU. This new cooler can have 3 fans installed at the same time to provide maximum cooling for extreme computing, using the push and pull principle.
The 140mm fan of the Scythe Mine 2 has the ability to cool the chips around the CPU socket. The fan can also be controlled either automatically by the motherboard or manually by the user.
The new FMSB3 or Super Flip Mount Backplate 3 mounting system is used in Scythe Mine 2. This provides a safe and stable attachment of the CPU cooler to the motherboard.
Scythe Mine 2 is compatible with all current sockets including the new LGA 1155 socket. This new CPU cooler will be available worldwide sometime in February 2011.
