In my previous post, Asus ROG Crosshair V Formula Socket AM3+ Specifications Revealed, we learned what ROG Crosshair V Formula is made of, now it’s time to give it a look. Here we have a few first pictures of Asus ROG Crosshair V Formula which was leaked from Czech press-shots.
Asus ROG Crosshair V Formula is based on AMD 990FX/SB950 chipset with a black socket AM3+ which supports the upcoming AMD Bulldozer FX-series processors and Llano Accelerated Processing Units (APU). Like the other Republic of Gamers motherboard, this new high-end motherboard targets PC enthusiasts/Overclockers and Gamers.

The ROG Crosshair V Formula will be available in two versions or packages. The first is with the ASUS Thunderbolt card and the other package is without the ASUS Thunderbolt card. Obviously the one without the Asus Thunderbolt will be sold at a cheaper price. Asus Thunderbolt is an addon card from Asus which provides Sound Blaster X-Fi hardware accelerated audio and Bigfoot Killer NIC in one PCB/Card.
