The next generation tablet from Samsung is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. It’s a slightly better tablet compared to the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. The tablet was spotted at GLBenchmark with codename Samsung SM-T311, and is said to feature a WXGA display and the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. See more details below.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is said to be powered by a 1.5GHz processor paired with a Mali 400 for its GPU. The 8-inch WXGA display will have a screen resolution of 1280×800 and a pixel density of 189 ppi, similar size and resolution with the Galaxy Note 8.0 but lower pixels per inch.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is said to have a dimension of 209.6 x 112.1 x 6.95mm and weighs around 330 grams. Although the dimension is yet to be confirmed since sources are just rumors. It is also rumored that it will have a 3 megapixel rear facing camera paired with a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. I wonder why Samsung Galaxy Tablets has low megapixel cameras built with it.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will draw its power from a 4,500 mAh battery, and there will be a WiFi version and a 3G version as well.
