Basically, the three Asus Eee Pad Transformer looks similarly the same but their processing capability and other features are not the same. Let’s take a look at the major improvements in the specifications from the first Asus Transformer tablet up to the upcoming Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF700T.
The Processing Power
One of the major changes in the Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet is the processor. The first Asus Transformer TF101 is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual core processor with a speed of only 1GHz. The display has also been improved from one model to another. The Transformer TF101 had a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800. The technology used was only a LED-backlit IPS LCD and a scratch resistant screen. In Transformer Prime TF201, a Super IPS+ LCD was used paired with Corning Gorilla Glass. And finally in Transformer Prime TF700T, the resolution was further improved from 1280×800 to 1920 x 1200, giving it a HD display.
The rear camera was improved from 5 megapixel (2592×1944 pixels) camera to 8 megapixel (3264×2448 pixels) camera with a large aperture size of f2.4. Front camera is also improved from 1.2 megapixels to 2 megapixels in the upcoming Transformer Prime TF700T.
The Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 had only a 16GB and a 32GB variation. Storage capacity was improved in Transformer Prime TF201 and TF700T to 32GB and 64GB variant.
Battery life is improved from up to 9 hours of usage to up to 12 hours.
