Another much awaited and upcoming Google tablet is the Asus Nexus 7, which is currently covered with so much mystery. According to reports the Asus Nexus 7 is a cheap Android tablet that features a 1280×960 resolution display. Aside from that, rumors are also claiming that Google is going to debut their next Operating System, Jelly Bean.
Asus Nexus 7 Specifications
The Nexus 7 tablet’s specifications are pretty much a mystery as of today. We just know a handful of information about what this tablet has to offer. First, Asus’ new tablet is a 7-inch tablet with a display resolution of 1280×960.
It is also reported that it will be powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor. Reports also say that there is a big possibility that the Nexus 7 will run on Android 4.0 Jelly Bean operating system, successor of Ice Cream Sandwich.
It also has WiFi (only) capability, and it doesn’t have GPRS or 3G network. It is also reported that it will have a front facing camera.
Asus Nexus 7 Price
According to reports, the Asus Nexus 7 Tablet will be priced at $199 USD only! The price is very attractive and it could be a killer for other 7-inch android tablets. The price will also give us a hint that this device is WiFi only.
Asus Nexus 7 Release Date
The Nexus 7 tablet is expected to be officially unveiled this coming June 27-29, 2012 at Google’s iOS developer conference.
